Ants

Ant problems usually start when a colony sets up nearby and sends workers inside for food and water. Pest Marshal identifies the species, targets trails and nesting sites, and treats the source to help prevent repeat infestations.

Mosquitoes

Mosquito control lowers biting pressure by treating breeding sites and adult resting areas around your property. Regular service helps disrupt the life cycle and keep populations down through peak season.

Termites

Termites can cause hidden damage by feeding on wood and other cellulose materials. Professional control starts with a detailed inspection, then uses targeted treatments and monitoring to stop activity and help prevent a return.

Fleas

Fleas reproduce fast and can infest carpets, furniture, yards, and pet areas. Professional flea control targets adult fleas and developing stages to break the life cycle. Follow-up steps and prevention help stop re-infestation.

Ticks

Ticks thrive in tall grass, wooded edges, and shaded parts of the yard where pets and wildlife pass through. Pest Marshal treats these high-risk zones to reduce tick populations and help limit exposure for people and pets.

Cockroach

Cockroaches multiply fast and often hide in kitchens, bathrooms, and wall voids. Professional control targets nesting areas, food sources, and entry points, then uses prevention steps to help keep them from returning.

Areas We Serve in Southwest Florida

Pest Control in Fort Myers, FL

From McGregor Boulevard and the Downtown River District to Gateway Villas, and the communities along Daniels Parkway, Fort Myers homes deal with pests differently depending on water, shade, and construction style. A canal-adjacent home, a newer build near Gateway, and an older property under mature oaks can have totally different pressure points. What makes Fort Myers unique is the mix of warm weather nearly year-round, afternoon humidity and rain cycles, and how close many neighborhoods sit to canals, retention ponds, preserves, and the Caloosahatchee River. That steady moisture and mild winter means pests don’t really “take a season off.” After heavy rain, activity can spike fast as pests look for higher, drier ground. Add in common local features like pool cages, screened lanais, attic access points, and lush landscaping, and you get a city where pest control has to be consistent—not occasional. That’s why this Fort Myers franchise is built to be local-first: quick to respond, easy to reach, and focused on a year-round plan that fits how Fort Myers properties are actually built and lived in.

Pest Control in Naples, FL

From Old Naples and the streets off Fifth Avenue South to East Naples, Golden Gate, and the communities along Immokalee Road and Tamiami Trail, Naples homes deal with pests differently depending on water, landscaping, and how the home is built. A coastal property near the Gulf, a golf course community, and a newer home farther inland can all attract pests for different reasons. What makes Naples unique is the combination of coastal humidity, warm weather most of the year, and the amount of water woven into everyday life—canals, lakes, irrigation systems, and retention ponds. That steady moisture keeps pest activity consistent, and it can increase quickly after heavy rain as pests move to higher, drier areas. Add in dense landscaping, shaded lanais, and the open-air lifestyle that comes with Naples living, and you get a market where pest control needs to be steady and proactive, not just a one-time fix. That’s why our Naples franchise is built to be local-first: responsive, easy to reach, and focused on year-round comfort with a plan that fits how Naples neighborhoods are laid out and how people actually use their homes.

Pest Control in Cape Coral, FL

From Yacht Club and Southeast Cape to Burnt Store, Pine Island Road, and the newer neighborhoods on the north side, Cape Coral homes deal with pests in a way that’s pretty unique to this area. The city’s dense canal system and waterfront lots create constant moisture and insect pressure, and that can change block by block depending on seawalls, vegetation, and proximity to water. What makes Cape Coral different is how water is built into the layout of the city. Canals, docks, boat lifts, and irrigation keep conditions favorable for year-round activity, and after heavy rain or storms, pest movement can spike fast as insects and rodents look for higher ground and shelter. Add in screened lanais, pool equipment pads, and outdoor living spaces that are used almost every day, and pest control here needs to be consistent and tailored—not occasional. That’s why our Cape Coral franchise is local-first: responsive, easy to reach, and focused on a plan that fits canal-adjacent properties and the Cape Coral lifestyle, so your home stays comfortable all year.

Pest Control in Estero, FL

Estero sits right in the middle of the Naples–Fort Myers corridor, and homes here deal with pest pressure that reflects that mix: fast-growing neighborhoods, lots of new construction, and plenty of natural areas close by. From Corkscrew Road and Three Oaks Parkway to the communities around FGCU and the areas near US-41, Estero properties can face different pest patterns depending on development, drainage, and landscaping. What makes Estero unique is the combination of steady warmth, seasonal humidity, and how often properties border preserves, waterways, and retention ponds. New builds can have their own issues too—fresh landscaping, irrigation, and disturbed ground can push pests toward structures. After rain, activity can ramp up quickly as pests relocate and search for dry shelter, and that’s why proactive, year-round service tends to work better here than “spray and hope” visits. That’s why our Estero franchise is built to be local-first: quick response, clear communication, and a plan that matches Estero’s growth, layout, and year-round conditions.

How often should I get pest control in Southwest Florida?
Most homes do best with recurring service every 30–60 days because pests stay active year-round here. Homes near canals, preserves, heavy landscaping, or with frequent ant/roach issues often need monthly at first, then can step down once things stabilize.
What pests are most common in this area?
The big repeat offenders are usually ants, roaches, spiders, mosquitoes, rodents, and occasional invaders that surge after weather changes. The exact mix can vary by neighborhood—especially near water, dense vegetation, or new construction zones.
Why do I see more pests right after heavy rain or storms?
Rain and flooding push pests out of saturated ground and into drier shelter—garages, wall voids, attics, and under sinks. After storms, you’ll often see a sudden spike in activity for a week or two. A proactive exterior barrier + entry-point check is usually the fastest way to get back under control.
I live near a canal / retention pond. Does that change the plan?
Yes. Waterfront and pond-adjacent properties typically have higher moisture and insect pressure, so we focus more on: exterior perimeter work, removing easy entry points, reducing harborage zones near the foundation, and dialing in treatments around lanai/pool areas without overdoing it.
Do you handle termites here, and how do I know if I have them?
Termites are common in Florida, and early signs can include mud tubes, discarded wings near windows, or soft/warped wood. The safest move is a termite inspection—it’s the only way to confirm what you’re dealing with and whether you need prevention or active treatment.
Do you offer plans for snowbirds, vacation homes, and short-term rentals?
Yes. Unoccupied homes can turn into easy targets because small issues go unnoticed. A good plan includes scheduled exterior service, quick checkups before/after guest stays, and a simple way to report issues so problems get handled before they become “guest complaint” problems.
